As mentioned this morning:
Things have gotten completely out of hand. In any case, here are 5 assumptions I’m going to make of how things will play out.
For now, that general dating as it has been is in a weird place. Girls are going to be slightly skeptical of meeting strangers off the Internet. For now. They got over the fear of STDs at some point when sleeping around without condoms became cool and trendy. I won’t be shocked if the same happens here.
That the likeliness of “e-dating”; i.e. cam girls, Twitch girls, and those kind of things — the popularity is going to continue to rise into the near future.
That over time, if the economy continues like it is, that we will see a general downturn in the income of your average white collar workers. Sure, many IT nerds and the like will still have work, but there will also be a lot of “business analysts” and the like who are out of work.
Ideally, this would mean that girls would be more willing to settle for “provider” types of men
Over time, perhaps if this thing really does kick society’s ass in the economy, plus an overall downfall of feminism (hopefully having to actually struggle in life puts an end to some of this nonsense) — we will see a return of girls being…well, normal.
Great thoughts, Kyle. I have noticed, re: #1, that girls on dating apps are more skeptical about meeting, either because of social distancing/stay-at-home orders, or because there's just not much to do on a first date.
That said, there is an explosion of new girls on those dating apps, as they're all stuck at home, bored. I have had some excellent dates with girls willing to break quarantine (it helps to frame it to them as a form of cheeky, romantic rebellion), and the dates are basically long walks with great conversation: good enough for a first date. It's also cool exploring places when nobody else is around.
It's a great time to lay groundwork for the explosion of babes this summer, all ready to burst out in glory after being cooped up all winter and spring.
